Well, $349 is full MRSP for the B-Mag so it's not surprising it's still there. Dicks is not noted for bargain prices.
Went back to Dick's to check on ammo the other day. Wilkes-Barre Pa. they still have a b-mag on the rack after a month. Talked to the guy at the counter, asked him how many they have sold? He said this was still the same 1 . They have it marked at 349.99 . They don't have any ammo for it, they had some awhile back but I bought it. I got 3 boxes of 20 grain about a week ago at a Wal-Mart in Hazleton. I also got a b-mag from that same Wal-Mart for 297.00 about 2 months ago.

How expensive is the ammo for these rifles?
14 to 20 bucks for 50 rounds at local retailers.
The benefit is for those folks who are restricted to using a rimfire for coyote, fox and bobcats. It also has less muzzle report then a center-fire which is nice for hunting at night.
The bad stock reviews should keep most people from buying this POS. I will post video when I throw mine in the lake.
I hope just the stock is going in the lake when you find a replacement.......
Just left Dicks in Sandusky,OH. They just got 2 B-mags in this am,but no ammo in stock.
Can't wait for the video.

My local Dick's has one on the rack for $349 too. I probably would have bought it in Oct for that, before Furbearer opened but, given the amount of problems being reported and the lack of Fox/Coyote pictures from them....I decided to pass.
Hoping maybe Savage will scrap the B-Mag and come out with a good 17WSM <fingers crossed> before it becomes the new 5mm Rem.
Hey danjurista.
You are a NEPA guy too? How do you like the 17 wsm? Just ordered a hog hunter from Piestraks, should be in this week.
I still would like to see a .22 super mag yet, maybe that would of worked out better ???
Same as the B-mag.
I have not shot the b-mag yet, just stocking up on ammo and getting the scope ready. I got a Mueller apv 4.5x14x40 and I have 19 boxes of ammo for it mostly 20 grain. I'm waiting on boyd's to come out with a new stock for it!
I would like that also as I am restricted to rimfire (or shotgun) for night varmints. As far as working out better I don't think a differance in caliber would give any differant results considering problems that are occuring seem to revolve around either quality control issues on the ammo line (which I would suspect may be first run gremlins that hopefully will get worked out) or design flaws in the bMag which are just bad no matter what caliber you shoot through it.
