It's not a decent deal at that price. It's a great deal at that price. I have them in 3-15x 42, and 3-15x 50. Also Weaver's Nitrex TR-2 in 4-20x 50, which is essentially the same scope, and is regrettably no longer produced. Love them all. I bought each of them on sale at about that price, except the TR2 was a little cheaper. They are a great value at that price. I love the pop-up, easily resettable turrets. Good glass. Only gripe is that at the highest powers they can be a little hazy at the edges of the sight picture. But nothing to really gripe about. Otherwise excellent. Some would say you don't need 15x in a hunting scope, and I'd say they're mostly correct. But it's nice to have that option at the range, and then just turn it down to 10x, or even down to 3x in some situations, while in the field. The five-times magnification range is really useful.

Be aware of the reticle options. The 4-20 may be the "fine dot", which is great for target shooting, but bad for hunting. Cross hairs are very thin, and the dot covers approx. 1/8" at 100 yards. Gets lost in the background in hunting situations. But really shines at the range, especially longer distances. Not sure which application you're looking for?

Edit: I looked at the 4-20 for $379, it's the dual-X reticle, which is fine for hunting or range use. For an extra $20, you get an extra 5X, and a fifty MM objective lens. What's not to love?? Heck I may have to grab another one now. BTW, PM me if you order it. I have info about lens caps, which you will need, as it doesn't come with any.
