    Trigger guard

Does anyone have a source for a steel blued trigger guard for a Stevens 200 (Savage 10 through 16, 110 through 116)? The sites I have looked at are all sold out.

Don't know what sites you've tried, but heres a list of some to try:

    -MidwayUSA,
    -Brownells,
    -Northland Shooters Supply,
-the want to buy section of this site(requires $15 paid membership),
    -Gunshack

    hope this helps

Thank you for your reply. I have tried all of these including the WTB section of this site.

The Savage website says they will be back on 01/06/2014. I'll give them a call if I have not found one before that date.

Good luck. The last 2 I found was 9 months ago from Midway. You'd think they were gold filled & people were hoarding them.

Still looking as well. If I find any I'll drop you a line if you do the same...

NSS has them for $25 but they have a $50 minimum order policy. Order 2 and sell one to your buddy! :)

Here's an excellent way to tell if you're a hoarder / crap collector...

After I mentioned looking for a few more steel trigger guards, it must've reactivated a few dormant memory cells in my feeble & otherwise failing memory.
I look in my general stash cabinet - lo & behold, there they are hanging on the backside of the cabinet door.
I bought them, anticipated putting them on my 110's, and never did.

I'm now wondering what else is around here I acquired with the best of intentions...
    I'm almost afraid to look.

    Absolutely not...
I'm just showing the affects of Savage addiction / OCD. I'm always buying stuff, getting side tracked & forgetting where I put it of forget about the project completely from another neurosis.... Axis ADD.

I wouldn't do something like that to a Savage Brother in Arms.

It's kind of like Christmas when you discover goodies that you totally forgot you had and then find them!

I found a bag of cotton patches & 2 big bottles of Hoppe's shoved all the way in the back, too.

I don't even remember when I bought them. Maybe I got a visit from the gun fairy when I lost that tooth?....

LOTA NOTA, have you tried contacting Savage directly and ordering one? If its this style you're after,

the part # is 105417 for black steel, or
105928 for stainless. Savage will ship them to your door in less than a week.
