    LRPV ONE PIECE BASE

I had to send a scope back for repair. so i took a weaver 36x off a 22 i have for sale.the bases are Leupold and the rings are the same.i can't get the scope back far enough to get a clear picture without climbing all over the stock. am going to have to go to a picatinny type rail..but which one ? anybody have that base mounted on a LRPV. i dodn't want something i have to modify, just a bolt on that works. Thanks

Take a look at the Evolution Gun Works (EGW) picatinney rail. You can order directly from their web site.

the target actions use the same bolt spacing as the center-feed short actions. EGW makes a number of bases with no ejection port cut-out, so it "rides" the action at all points. They make three lengths, each in 0 or 20moa. The lengths go up to 3" extension, and are all done in the Picatinny style. Click the EGW link ^^^^ up there, so this forum can get the referral credit and keep this place running!
