223 brass - what is this?

I have a friend who inherited 900 pieces of primed 223 brass that has been trimmed, camferred and appears to have been annealed at one time. The head stamp says 1v1 92 and some other mark I can't make-out that kinda looks like @, but I don't know for sure.

I am NOT looking to sell it, will NOT sell it to anyone under ANY circumstances, but am considering buying some or all of it for myself if someone can guide/advise me on it. I don't even know what it is.

Can anyone identify it and guide me a bit on what would be a fair price if I were to make him an offer?

    Thank you.

It could be IMI. But the @ is the NATO stamp. 92 is year of production. So its probably Israeli military brass, vintage 1992. I don't have any significant experience with IMI brass to tell you its quality. At least its had its primer crimp removed already, saving you some prep time.

OMG is correct. The @ would be a circle with a cross or plus sign. Since we started Bushing the NWO around that time it makes sense.

    Thanks, guys.

Well, I have all the Lapua and 7 1/2 primers I think I will need for a LONG time. If it is nothing special, I think I'll pass on it.

He knows next to nothing about brass. I'll suggest he asks .15 each?

Brass is made by Valcartier Industries Quebec Canada. Made to NATO specs. Good brass. Stamp is IVI.

It's just a friendly reminder as these are usually threads that get the innocent in trouble when the others start begging you to make an exception.

    MacDR has it nailed.
Canadian NATO production. Rumored to be similar to LC (Lake City) brass in quality.

IMI brass has a headstamp of SS 109.
