    New Axis Shooter Here!

I've been lurking for a while reading up and finally pulled the trigger and picked up an Axis in .308 today.

Going to be using her mostly as a hunting rifle and for putting holes in paper from far away. Trigger and stock are in the cards and eventually a slightly heavier profile barrel. I'll keep the stock Bushnell for now and upgrade it a bit later! Can't wait to be a regular part of the board!

    Obligatory family photo.

    Welcome to your new addiction.

I don't see any AK or SKS in the arsenal but I do see a Mosin.

I guess we can let you play.

But you have to buy 1st round.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the ever evolving inexpensive rifle...
'Scuse me while I whip this out...!

As Frank said. Welcome to your new addiction! Let me know if you have any questions about the Axis. I have modified pretty much every last part of mine!

I'm a new axis owner myself. Like you I've done quite a bit of reading up on them and just couldn't stand it anymore so I had to go buy one. Mines a stainless .223 with a Boyd's stock on the way. I'm going to have some fun with it at the range and maybe eventually put a 6x45 barrel on it. I've already done the trigger spring mod and some polishing on the trigger and sear. Can't wait for the Boyd's stock to get here.
