    Removing Swivels from Synth Stock?

I have an 11VT with dual forearm swivels, and I'd like to remove them for bench rest use. I've had the stock off a few times, but I've never noticed anything backing these swivels. Can someone tell me how to remove them, hopefully without damaging anything?

That's what I was hoping. Way better than "lefty-grunt-SNAP!"

Most wooden stocks prefer the wood screw type swivel. The plastic stocks have a machine thread I do believe. You could find a insert if you have trouble with it pulling out.
