Rings and bases for model 12

I am picking up a model 12 in 6.5x47 Lapua. I am going to use an older VX-III 4.5-14x50 "tactical" scope with a 30 mm tube. It also has a 2.5" sunshade. I think I am going to try the Burris Signature Zee rings since they have the 0.10" offsets that should get me an additional 10 MOA of cant. Can anyone tell me what height I need with this scope? I want to keep the scope as close to the gun as possible to help with cheek weld.

Also, what bases would be a good choice.

    Thanks.

Try Egw gives more options for scope placement, you can also get the moa built into the base. For a 50mm scope usually you will need high rings.
