Quick question about Model 25 LVT Savage rifles

Is it possible to do barrel changes with the model 25's like it is with the 110's? I recently bought a Savage model 25LVT in .223, eventually I'd like to try 6x25. Thanks.

Nope, they are pressed in and pinned.

Thanks very much for the reply. I think I'm going to look into a Stevens 200 for the 6x45 project then. I'm new to your forum here, and new to savage centerfires, but have 4 Savage rimfires, and one shotgun.

I have the 25 shoots .500 or less groups consistently with my reloads, for the price I will shoot until barrel is gone. ;D, its accuracy is same as my heavy barrel model 12 BTVS.

I'm a handloader too, and I cast my own bullets. I just bought a RCBS 55gr flatnose gas check mould to try some downloading with for this Model 25. I'm probably going to pay the $12 fee to join, a whole dollar a month, gee wizz, I think i can afford that for the wealth of information it will offer. :)

Im using 52 grain berger and sierra match, super accurate, also the Berger 64gr works great in the 25,
actually the accuracy exceeds what I expected with this rifle, unusual for me.
