Sorry, really don't know what material they use. But that had to be the funniest thing I've seen 82boy post.

Maybe a phone call to Savage will yield an answer.

Actually, he was being serious. He knew it to be true when he saw his picture imbedded in the butt stock.

On a more serious note, I don't have a clue as to what type of plastic it is. I've checked a couple of mine and there are no recycle code numbers or letters. Having reworked a couple, I'm sure that there is no fiberglass reinforcing in them.
