A shop in DFW called H2 arms found it up in South Carolina. It is the 20 inch barrel as well. I paid $499 out the door so not to bad. Ive seen them advertised cheaper but I was going to turn this one down.
Did it come with the EGW rail or are you going to call and have Savage send it? A quick call is all it takes if it didn't come with it.

It did not come with it but i read somewhere that you can call. I just need to give them the serial number and card info and they can ship one is what it said. Is it the customer service number I call? Thanks!

The rail was already installed on mine when it arrived.
For the life of me I do not understand why it is supposed to be an LE only gun.
It's a beautifully simple bolt action rifle...Now to shoot the thing.

The dealer I got mine from made the call and then shipped me the rail. Pretty sure customer service would be a good place to start.
