Most PTA actions are 4.40, these are the Rt Port Left eject, which should be the same as the benchrest.
The dual ports Palma Actions PTA's were 3.44
Gents,
Does anyone know the hole spacing in the stock of a F/TR and F-Class rifle? I would be curious if it were the same as my #12 benchrest gun. Thanks.

There are some "oddball" target actions coming from Savage. Originally the 3.44 spacing came on the dual port and the Palma actions.
I have found that spacing on left port actions, also and vise versa. It is best to measure first before ordering a stock.

Are the 3.44" spacing 2 action screw or 3 action screw?
They are 3 screws, the one in the center is the same.

I believe the screw spacing was changed to 3.44, which allows for a full rear pillar instead of the notched pillar on all previous model Savages. It was originally just on dual port actions when Savage introduced them, but has since trickled over to LP and RP target actions as well. Surprised it took them so long to switch over.
With both screw spacings out there do what Sharpshooter suggested, measure before you order. Its the only way to be sure youre getting the correct one.

I don't think this is a "trickle over" to the LP and RP target actions, at least not deliberate. I say that because most of the oddball actions that I have acquired came with the wrong trigger guard. Me thinks someone screwed up somewhere.....
