Been playing around with my 6.5-284 and occasionally video. My goal is to establish my max cold bore first round hit range. I am shooting about 80% at 1300 in mild wind. One thing I had not paid enough attention to was elevation change with wind direction and coriolus. The last few times out I have made adjustments for both and my elevation dialing and Doping has improved. Less than 1000 yards it has not been a big issue but beyond 1000 it has been.
Also, I just started playing with a 7mm08 axis. I reset the stock and worked on the trigger. Shooting 140 Berger VLDs at .020 off the lands with Superformance and IMR 4064 I see huge potential with this rifle. I feeling confident it will shoot .25MOA consistently. It is doing it now but with multiple loads!!!
