    Savage 110V 22-250 after market stock


    I picked up a savage 110V 22-250 and want to put a different stock on it. I belive it is the meduim action but not for sure. Where can I get a stock for it.

    What kind of stock are you looking for?

    Laminate, synthetic, tactical, sporter.

    There's a couple of options out there and a couple of brands to choose from.

    I really dont like thumb hole stocks. Also what action is this gun?

    They aren't all Thumb hole when you do the search for what's compatible. You have a 110 Long Action you have to figure out if it's stagger feed or center feed though.

    Then type of barrel channel and bottom metal configuration. I'm not a fan of thumb hole stocks either.

    measure the distance between the 2 action screws.

    If it is 4.275" it is a staggerfeed short action. If it is 4.522" it is an intermediate action. If it is 5.00" it is a long action.

    The 4.522 action is very hard to get a stock for, unless you have it custom made by Stockade, SSS, etc.
