I'm surprised they didn't tell you that. They should have.
I bought a SSS fluted bolt body for my 300wsm (crf) they will not work with crf as the standing ejector hangs up in the flutes.
I'm surprised they didn't tell you that. They should have.
I'm guessing you probably didn't tell them you had a CRF action did ya.

i didnt get it directly from them,I was just letting everyone know so wouldnt make the same mistake.I think i am going to convert it to push feed.I never really liked the crf anyway.I think the newer wsm's are push feed.
Do they advertise that they won't work for CRF ? Just wondered.
No,They do not state that on the website.
That stinks, there definitely a beauty!
Update on this,I contacted sss and they make one specifically for the wsm.
I am glad you posted this about the bolt. I sent in a order today for the fluted bolt ,bolthead and firing pin for a 300wsm build. I need to specify that it's for the CRF.

They do make one that works with the standing ejector? I have an ultra mag action and a SSS bolt body and it won't work
I just got one of these for the Axis. Looks great and Fred also cut it to reduce the bolt lift effort which I would say was just about cut in half.
