I am constantly seeing guys posting and wanting to know what's the best optic for a budget build etc... They must have realized how much of a discount they were giving and raised the price, vx3 CDS is off their website.
I would have bought two had it not expired, those would have made great Christmas gifts!
It says expires Dec 31 2013 on the CDS site.

They were on sale and then take 20% off then you get $80 back via rebate from Leupold. They took removed the sale price earlier today but the 20% and rebate are still applicable. I have a couple of friends who were able to get em at the posted price before they ended the sale earlier today. I'm sure there was a mad rush once the sale price hit the internet. At $383 with 80 back that still makes em $303 Total to your door which is not in the 250 range but still a pretty darn good price for a VX3. If you can find the scope on sale for less than $383 somewhere The Leupold rebate is still in effect. I got a couple of mark ARs last year for a song during the rebates and have been very happy with them. Good luck

Everyone I know who got in on this deal had their order canceled. Dicks is claiming the item is out of stock, and no backorder is available. The fact that they have emails confirming their in stock status is being dismissed as an "inventory error". All the more reason to never shop at Dicks again.
