    Savage PTA action screws

I bought a PTA and front, center and rear stainless socket head action screws from Savage. They did not supply the rearmost screw which I assume is a wood screw. What are you folks using for a wood screw to match the Savage action screws?

Go to Fasten-all or a store like Home Depot and you should find one very close.

If you don't have any luck, let me know. I am sure I have a few laying around.

i Would be more than happy to purchase the correct screw and pay for shipping if you care to part with the correct piece. Difficult to shop for ssomething like that where I live.

I will see what is in my reloading/build room. It's just a course wood screw, maybe 3/8" long. Stainless.

Diameter is a little bigger than 1/8th, sorry I don't know the right size.

I am glad Savage is sending you one. I have several of the front 3 mounting screws, but not ONE of the rear trigger screws. Home Depot had some that would work, but I would rather have the OEM screws.

Glad it worked out for you.
