Search terms?

Hi all.
New here.
I am trying to look up info specifically related to the 22-250. When I do a search I am told there are no matches..Now come on I know there are and I really would rather not search 96 pages post by post. I looked up 12 FV and got 5 pages of hits so I know the search isn't to short of characters. I tried 22-250 and 22 250 and 250 and got zero hits. What are the parameters in the search engine...minimum number of characters, characters not allowed etc. Seems silly I can't search by caliber.

Hint: Search works so much better with a paid subscription......

but 22-250 revealed no finds for me either.

if you go to advanced search, look at the tag clouds at the bottom. You will find 22-250 there and it reveals 2 posts.

Try searching for the specific info you are hunting for
ex: 22-250 bolt head 22-250 rem barrel

That's flat out wrong, and frankly I'm a little insulted that you'd even suggest we somehow limit the search functionality for non-paid members.

As for the parameters, I don't have any control of that - its all buried in the coding for the software. I can however say for certainty that the minimum number of characters is four. Could be the "-" is what's causing the zero results issue, so maybe try JW's suggestion by doing a more specific search.
