    FCP-K Brake Question

I just finished removing the muzzle brake off my FCP-K (.223) and realized it was a 5/8x24" tpi. I have a bunch of .308 AR brakes at my disposal & was wondering if the difference in dia. would affect the .223 caliber?

    Cheers

Just asking this question to make sure you don't botch the threads on your barrel. But I understood that the .223 tubes are threaded to a 1/2" X (cant recall the pitch count). That the .308 version (like mine) come with the 5/8" x 24 tpi. Otherwise if it threads on it should work, other than possibly changing the POI a little.

watched as my gunsmith mic'd it this morning. I found it odd the tpi wasn't the standard 1/2x28" myself.
