    which barrel for my 338?

Im going to order a new barrel for my 338LM and my two options are Brux and Krieger. Which one would you use?
I have a Brux and love it. I have never owned a Krieger and know they are great barrels but I'm undecided.

Now a good brake, the savage is good but can be better I think. Might try the JP.

I use a spiral port brake much better than factory. Ive used it on everything from 6br's to 338 edge.

Any particular brand/model? I just picked my new 338LM up today, and haven't shot it yet.

I've got a Kreiger barrel on my 300 WM build and it's tack driver. Going to wring out this Savage barrel on this new LM and then maybe look at other options. Did you do any load development on your stock Savage LM barrel or did you start looking aftermarket right out of the box?

Flip a coin on the barrel, just have a good smith do the chamber.
They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

are you using a regular 110 savage action or is the rifle a 338LM from factory?

I used the factory fcp110 338. Bought it and couldn't get it to shoot so I had Snyder do his magic!
