Is this normal??? Ar500

Shot this at 385 yards with a 308, 168grain hpbt
bought this off ebay..is this normal damage for this round and distance. It is 3/8. The light indention is a 30-30 round

No way. Someone sold you ar-400 or lower steel. I can shoot my 30-06 at 100 yards at my ar-500 steel and it wind even leave a dimple. Steel core 5.56 leaves only a small pock mark on the surface. Buy from wideners.com, you won't be sorry
