This is my first bolt gun... i think I did alright?

Cant decide on the next upgrades for it. Thinking fluted bolt and then changing to a 260 Rem barrel, but i need to start reloading first.

Beautiful! Love that B&C stock! I just got a Hog Hunter in .308 last week...I don't think I've ever "bonded" with a rifle so quickly. For me it's perfect as is; all I've done was add a flash hider. THATS one of the great things about Savages though; customize until you're happy! JUST got a Nikon 6-18 x 40 Buckmasters scope for it- now I need to select rings and bases. But even with my older eyeballs, the iron OEM sights are doing pretty well.

I haven't shot it yet. The weather quickly dropped below freezing here the kast few weeks, and havent had a nice day. And i am in the middle of helping open a gun shop. So not mu h available time.
