I'll do a video of it You get used to the flash, sorta.

Here's a neat little "money saver" Just uses a percussion cap and 177 lead ball. Petersoli makes them. Coyp of a "Remington Ryder Derringer" Gentlemans gun, parlor, bar pistol. GF loves it, calls it the "pea shooter". Think Dixie still has them.

1/2 acre what is that like ? I have like a 8000 sq ft lot, that is counting the side walk.
I have to drive 30 mins to shoot in my truck whic gets 14 mpg if I am lucky
So after I buy diesel at 4 buck a gal and pay for the ammo my neighbors kids shoot I am in the hole for a bit of cash. That is not counting buying lunch for the kids, the price of fun and passing it to the next generation :-)

ShawneeB that's a cute little gun! Will it kill a jackrabbit?

What am I doing? Buying more and shooting less as I slowly try to replenish the ammunition coffers. Bought another $250 worth at Sportsman's Den in Shelby, OH while I was over that way doing the family thing today.

    200rds of Winchester 22 WMR ($12.99/box)
    200rds of CCI 22 WMR ($12.99/box)
    500rds of CCI 22LR ($39.99/brick)
    50rds Speer .38 Spl+P JHP ($21.99/box)
    100rds American Eagle .38 Spl FMJ ($19.99/box)

Run Apache, run, pop!.... Yeoooooww! It really is a blast to shoot too. Not real accurate but GF is getting pretty good with it.

J Baker. $40 a brick for 22lr in these times really isn't that bad.

I have written a book of excuses " Book of Excuses" If you would like I.could send you one, but of course I don't have any stamps nor.a.box small enough to put it in, and I would have to drive in to town to mail it. Oh and our post office is just a contract post office and isn't open on Saturdays so I would have to wait til Monday and by then I will have forgotten about it due to my short term memory loss from growing up in the late 60's and early 70's. So I guess i won't be able to send you one of what ever it was I was going to send you or were you going to send me something? Oh bother!

    That's OK Rupe, I'll use FGW's.

Yeah it was the wind. Blew my 50 cal patched round ball straight up in the air, right before a dead center heart shot and it flew tangentally 8" over the deers back. Darn wind!
