Best self load formula for the 300wsm to pi point at 500 meters

    He all.

I have been playing with some loads to get my group together at 500 meters.
I cant get my loads to perform as good as the Sako hand loaded ammunition. 180 gr. hammerhead. Any suggestions.

Federal 210M primers, Norma brass, H4831 SC or IMR 4831, within 1/2 grain +/- of max using Hodgdon's public load data and about any decent bullet. Most of what I've shot was 180gr Nosler BT's and Accubonds, because mine's a hunting rifle. Biggest problem I had was poor Rem and WIn brass and non-uniform necks. Norma brass cured that for both of my 300 WSM's. Both of mine are seated based on mag length - I tihnk 2.88" if memory serves.
