Book on savage rifles ???

Does a good reference book exist that covers different models, dimensions, diagrams, etc etc? I'm guess I'm looking for a complete book on Savage bolt action rifles. Kind of the Chilton's of savages. Does it exist?

Not that I've ever heard of. Heck I think you would have to be half nuts to want to compose such a thing with all the variations, contradictions, one year wonders, bankruptcy years, "retail store exclusives" etc.

Half the members here probably know enough to write such a thing, but too much burnt gunpowder and lead fumes have rendered their writing abilities near useless.
