Can I alter an 11 Trophy Hunter to accept 10 rd DBM's?

Just purchased 11 Trophy Hunter XP in .308 and I think I just made a costly error. With the bolt release in front of the trigger guard, and the plastic bottom on my Trophy Hunter XP, can I still modify the action to accept 10 round DBM's or is my only option to buy another .308 savage with the bolt release at the side of the action. If it is possible, where do I start?

This is my first build. I plan to learn some valuable and hopefully not to costly lessons, but please, any advice you have send it this way. Thanks.

The plastic bottoms use the axis type mag. So you can use an axis mag. Or if you get the metal bottom you can run dark eagle or sss mags. Or you can buy one of the after market bottom metals that use AI mags. I run the metal bottom metal with the bottom bolt release and dark eagle mags.

I know it takes the axis DBM's but I want 10 round mags. So what is the least expensive way to get bottom metal and magazines. Any suggestions on where to look for parts?

Find a metal factory bottom metal like what is on the fcp model 10 then get some dark eagle custom mags. You can get the bottom metal from savage, or keep an eye out in the classifieds.
