Original Rifle stock concerns

My rifle stock on my 243 somewhat touches my barrel and rifle shoots well overall but by the stock touching will this hinder my rifle from accuracy ? My other rifles barrels don't touch and after shooting the other rifles I own I'm coming to a conclusion that it really may be holding me back from the accuracy I could get from the rifle but am not. Would there be a easy fix to this as well ?

I would fix it either with bedding, opening the channel up or both

Can you try reinstalling the stock? Loosen the action screws and with the butt on something solid, push the barrel straight down to make sure the recoil lug is making good contact, then re tighten the action screws tightening the front one first. You may want to check the tang as well. A little sand paper may be all you need to relieve any areas if they are touching. Bedding the action to the stock is not a bad idea if you want to give it a go.

If it touches more than 2" down barrel from the front lug screw it may affect accuracy. The solutions are to clear it or bed it solid as stated.

I have tried taking it apart at least once or twice to correct it but didn't accomplish what I wanted. I honestly have never bedded a stock but what would I need or where should I look to get what I need for it

There are a lot of threads describing pillar bedding actions. Also, good youtube videos. do some searching, you'll find em.

I recommend Devcon 10110 for bedding. Search around online, can get for about $35 shipped if search a bit. Hard as steal and easily applied due to its peanut butter-like consistency.
Acraglass is good, too. (Avail at Brownells)

Pillars are easily made from threaded lamp rod.

As for stock stiffness (mostly get trouble using bipod due to flex), I bedded 2 steel rods in bottom of fore arm (under barrel) It helped. It did not completely solve the problem. Was fine for hunting without bipod.
