New Gun in hand............

Finally obtained NEW Gun, sent from Savage, from Gunsmith, after 10 day waiting period (Replacement for defective Gun, Had to do CA Back Ground Check again).
Looking over new gun, Barrel and Receiver Black Satin (now it looks like a Varmint gun), Thumb hole Stock, looks great. Bolt appears different, not in its design, but by its finished appearance. Action feel tighter, but it seems to work smoother, will not be able take to range until next week. How it feeds from the magazine and performs at 100 yards, will be the TEST.
For some reason, I can't remember how the old gun looked ( Back and forth to G/S and Factory), but if this one shoots and performs like it looks, I've got a Keeper!
