Bubba needs assistance ... blind mag question

Purchased a savage hog hunter in .223, quickly realized that I would not be able to tolerate the factory stock. Dropped it into a pre-fit B&C stock, which is a decent stock for the price. rifle is shooting very well. blind mag did not transfer well to new stock. it was a beeyatch to get out of the old stock, and now it moves around in the new stock. I guess that's the best way to describe it. The portion of the magazine that is the shell and has the feed lips moves from side-to-side in the stock. I can take some pics and try to describe more thoroughly, but I thought that somebody else may have bubba'd their attempt in a similar way.

I'm perfectly fine with a blind mag in this rifle, but I'd prefer a repeater to a single shot. Any ideas for a good solution? Thanks in advance.

    You could....

    1. epoxy it in place (permanent solution)
    2. use some modeling clay or any number of other different materials (paper, business cards, cardboard, etc) to pack around it to take up the extra space if you don't like the permanent solution above.
    3. Wrap the magazine housing in duct or electrical tape until it's a snug fit in the stock.

I have used thin craft/hobby plywood epoxied in place to take out the slop. then filled more epoxy to finish the job. After it hardens I use a Dremel to make the final tight fit. Of I am still having trouble I go to #2.

Thanks for the feedback ... I see that this is a somewhat common problem. I was worried that I had done something wrong, but it looks like this is just the way it works. also noticed that the rear screw of the trigger guard would have to be drilled in, or some other solution made.
