Need 1 300 grain 338 Berger

If someone will sell me just one I am in need of one. Got to see if it will fit the throat of my barrel. The 250's I have just aren't long enough.

What do you mean won't fit the throat? All 338 bullets will fit any 338 barrel throat. If you are trying to get mag length while also being only .010 or so off the lands good luck. My Berger 300s are loaded to CIP mag length, about 3.750, and still have about a .125 jump to the lands. If you want minimal jump you're going to have to single feed.

Body this is my neighbor and what he means is when he tries to jam the 250 Berger the base of the bullet is out or almost out of the case neck, this is in a 338 edge rifle. He wants just one bullet to see if he can jam or at least get very close to the lands with a 300 Berger. The 250MK will jam but the Berger having a longer shape will not. He is not worried about fitting the magazine so COAL is not a problem.
