Unfortunately if you can't find it locally you are going to have to check ALL the sites on a daily basis. I snagged a jug 6 months ago from PV when they had it in stock for .....15 minutes...

If you put your location up with your user name someone local might help you out. I have a couple of pounds, I'd share but don"t want to ship. If you're local to Atl Ga. let me know.

Actually I live up the street in Chattanooga and in fact will be doing an art show in Olmstead park this weekend. Your offer is very generous--but if you only have two pounds and you use it for magnum loads--well, there's no tellin when it may become available again. On the other hand if you don't do many loads with it maybe I have some powder I could trade and/or buy. Any pet calibers you prefer?

PS PM your response so we can take this off the forum.

The only Alliant powers I have seen in months on dealer shelves are some RL 17 and RL 19. Alliant powder seems to be the hardest to find. I've been looking for RL-15 since April.

If you can't find RL-22, try some Ramshot Magnum. I saw it yesterday on a couple sites. It is a spherical powder but still shoots very well in the 300. I use quite a bit of it for heavy pills.

I already have some and will try it out. I was scouring the shelves at my LGS yesterday and found a couple of pounds of accurate magpro--hard to resist something that says "excellent choice for 300 win mag" right on the label. Anyone stirred up any recipes with it??

Thanks. I have to send some factory stuff down range first in order to get some brass up.

Our local Walmart had R19 today. Couldn't believe it. They said earlier in the week they had R22.

That's funny, you guys down south seem to have probs finding Alliant, up here in the Midwest Alliant has been the easiest to find. The Hodgdon stuff has been the most scarce up here.

Were getting hogdon and IMR but alliant is scarce indeed. I did find some power pro 2000MR locally but haven't had a chance to try it yet. Some very imppressive velocity claims from Alliant for the 308. I actually got to meet Thermaler and traded him a # but it didn't come cheap. Cost him some 15
    :) Great guy to meet.

Great guy? Must have been somebody impersonating me LOL. Most of the Alliant powders can be found if you look hard enough--but I still am drawing blanks on 22 and 15. If you guys know where either can be bought, especially the 22--please let me know! : )
