    Changing Calibers Questions

To change from a 12BVSS .223 to a 12BVSS .308 or .243 Is it a matter of swapping out barrels and bolts heads? What about mag length?

Yep. The mag will need changing too. Or, you could just put a single shot follower in it.

Also, you'll need a front baffle.

    Good luck,

    Re: Changing Calibers Questions

If building for strictly bench work, I'd go with just a single shot follower. This allows you to seat the bullets out to touch or get near the lands and not have the length restriction of a mag box.
