What are the dimensions of the inlet it needs to fit in?
I'm trying to determine if the bottom metal on my 220F has the same outside dimensions as the bottom metal on a 110. Could someone measure the total outside length of the magazine portion and let me know what it is? Don't measure the triggerguard, just the max outside length of the frame the mag goes through.
Thanks,
Jim

Also after reading your other post I was curious about the action screw spacing. did you know the camo version uses a slightly better stock?
Max outside dimensions: 5.8" x 1.4".
I checked, my black stock is identical to my camo stock.
The bottom metal for the 220 is completely different from a 110. The mag opening for the 220 is the same as for a short action, but the screw spacing is for a long action. The placement of the mag well is totally towards the rear to make room for the long feed ramp.

Sharpshooter,
Are you saying that the 220 uses bottom metal with a long action length but a short action magazine opening? If so, I should be able to drop my 220 bottom metal into a Boyd's stock that's inlet for a 110, right?
Stangfish,
I've seen that thread before. McMillan is just not an option for me with their price tag. I don't want to double the cost of the gun with a new stock.
Maybe someone could measure the dimensions of the green rectangle on a 110 stock for me? This is a bit easier than taking off bottom metal.
