    Bedding an accustock...

This might not be in the aftermarket stock realm, but it is close. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to skim bed an accustock, if it would be beneficial to do so, etc. Any info would be much appreciated.

Here is a video of what might be the ideal way to bed a factory accustock.

There is no need to bed an accustock. That's the purpose of buying an accustock.

That would probably be nothing like bedding an uccustock. Here is why...

The new ones don't have the nut.

I watched the video, and have to ask how bedding the lug area will help if you tape the bottom front and sides with tape. Is their not enough tolerance to move then ? Also how does the recoil lug move forward anyway ? Just ask'in ?

Bedding the lug will increase the contact area, not move it forward. Your lug does not need to be making contact in any area that is not affected by recoil. However some people think it is required.
