Tactical Steel Match 28 Sep at Big Piney Sportsmans Club **Cash Prizes**

Sorry about the late notification, but I wanted to invite anyone that is interested out to take part in our tactical steel match we are shooting on 28 Sep at Big Piney Sportsmans Club near Houston, MO. Start time is 9am. Round count should be less than 60. (Less than 40 for the main match, but there are several side matches you are welcome to enter in as a seperate event.) Entry fee is $50, with over $1000 in cash prizes. In addition, there will be door prizes given out at the end of the match from our sponsors.

Targets will range out to 700 yards. We will shoot some paper stages at shorter distances, but the long range stuff is all steel!! Gotta love that instant feedback.

Bring good dope, this is a challenging course of fire. This will go on rain or shine!!

Lunch will be available for $5, and drinks are available also.

If interested in attending, let me know via pm.

    See you at the range,

    Sean

We had a smaller than expected turn out, it was surprising with the prizes up for grabs. All in all it was a great day at Big Piney. Cash prizes were paid out for the first 4 places, as well as to the winner of several side matches we held.

    1. Scott P. 455
    2. Vanis D. 450
    3. Joe R. 350
    4. Curt T. 325
    5. Ray B. 260
    6. Bill R. 240
    7. Robert L. 235
    8. Charles B. 220
    9. Brian B. 190
    10. Shawn H. 180

Door prizes given out from our generous donors:
J Dewey Rods donated a Dewey Chamber cleaning Rod, won by Robert L.

Bell and Carlson donated clay Pigeon target holders and target cards, won by Shawn H. (Not me, I didnt compete.)

Sierra Bullets donated a certificate for 5 boxes of Sierra Bullets, won by Scott P.

Frontsight Institute donated a certificate for a 2 day pistol course at their location, won by Charles B.

Grafs& Sons donated a Bore Sight System, won by Vanis D. (I think. I didnt write down the name of the winner but seem to remember him getting it from me, I could be wrong here.)

Burris donated two 60% off certificates for any of their scopes, won by Brian B. and Curt T.

Nighforce Optics donated a half off certificate for any of their scopes, won by Bill R.

This comp was a blast, it was a good time with a challenging course of fire. We will continue to run this match as a regular part of the BPSC schedule.
