    model 10 .308 or .243 rebarreled to 6.5x47 lupua


    Hi Guys i want to re barrel my .243 or my .308 savage into a 6.5x47 lupua

    do i need to change the bolt face out or is it just the barrel i have to change out?

    and is there any differnts if i use the .243 over the .308 action?

    Just for fun let's look up the 308 rim diameter.

    Now lets look up the 6.5x47 Lapua rim diameter.

    The answer is...You can use the same bolt head, .473

    yeah i thought it was right just wasn't sure if anthing else other then the rim diameter effected it
