Model 10 Precision Carbine .223 last round feeding problem.

Got my Mdl. 10 precision .223 today, and I read about a couple of people on here that's had feeding problems.I hadn't shot mine yet,but I was trying different ammo to see how it feeds.I have some Sierra 77 gr.Matchkings loaded and some 55 gr .Sierra Gameking HP's both feed fine until you get to the last rd.(1 left in the mag),when you close the bolt it will start to feed it out of the mag then the rear of the case drops down and the bolt slides over top of it.The FMJ and the 55 GR. Blitzking's seem to feed fine. But on the HP's it doesn't happen until the last round.

I've got a Stevens center feed in .223 that does the same thing. Only mine does it no matter what kind of ammo it is.

I have not had this problem with mine.

I do notice that you have to be careful to make sure the magazine is completely engaged. I have on occasion thouhgt it was, only to have the bolt fail to pick up the next round at all. A push on the magazine is all it takes if that is the problem.

I noticed today if I push up on the front of the mag from the bottom it feeds fine.It has a few thousands play pushing up on it.I don't know if it's the mag lip on the front or what.
