    Pre accutrigger 93r17 question

Hi all, I recently was given a preaccutrigger .17hmr, it's grey laminated stock and heavy barrel, not sure of the model number for certain as it's not sitting here with me. My question is, can I buy an accutrigger to put in it or comparable? I think it seems like a cool little gun and since I got it for free figured May as well upgrade the trigger as everyone loves the accutrigger. Thanks in advance.

Most find that the Shim Trick described over on Rimfire Central will net a light enough trigger (2-3lbs) on the pre-AccuTrigger Mark I/II & 93R rimfires. If you want something lighter and/or just don't like the idea of the shim truck then your other option is to spend $90 or so to purchase a SAV-R replacement trigger from Rifle Basix which should get you down into the 1-2lb range.
