    Thumbs Up new 25 17 hornet


    just wanted to post a positive review of the new gun -NO PROBLEMS. other than finding ammo or brass.
    btw walking varminter in syn.

    first and here's hope it's the last problem.
    at the range and tried to clean the bolt face a little with a broken q-tip and the extractor popped out on the bench.
    took it home and reassembled it pretty easily. good thing because i have a feeling it won't be the last time i'll have to do it.
    nothing holds the extractor in place save the tension from a tiny spring. don't get too aggressive cleaning around the bolt i guess.

    Good to know as I'm contemplating getting one!

    I also have a model 25 in 17 hornet with no problems after a 1000 rounds and counting.
