    bell and carlson DuraMaxx any good?


    Looking at thier DuraMaxx stock for my 200. Supposed to be pillar bedded and have the varmint channel. Anyone have any experience with these?

    lots of them out there, it is the economy up grade to the tupperware. still a very slight flex of a bipod, but in all a good upgrade.I have 3 or 4

    Thanks for the replies. The price is attractive, no doubt about that. What I'm looking for is something I can use for target and varmint hunting. Don't need a full on BR style stock but would like something stiffer with a varmint contour channel. I like a laminate but haven't seen much that wasn't thumbhole.

    My 10FP(308) sat in a Duramaxx up until a few days ago. It was a verified 3" 500 yard shooter.

    With a little tweeking, the Duramaxx is a good stock. Lately, the recoil lug ares is a bit off making barrels sit cockeyed in the channel. Glass bedding and wrapping some electrical tape around the barrel to hold it centered in the channel straightens it right up.
