I bought some Winchester 30gr HV the other day because their are no Hornady 30gr vmax around NC anymore and I was really excited when they grouped well on the first few and then I hear "click". FTF. The very next round did the same. I then fired several again with no problem. I have seen posts where the Winchester has given problems bit after striking these two three times apiece in the 93 I put them in my Heritage 22 mag pistol and they fired fine. The heritage has a large round firing pin compared to the Savage 93 rectangle. I was wondering if I could beef up the spring or if someone had found a way to make the 93 firing pin a little more robust. It has always worked fine with other ammo bit I cant get other ammo now so I would love to make it shoot them.
