Bergara Barrels, but I have had bad luck with them myself, but they are an option.

www.apachegunworks.com is another. I am not sure what blanks Jim uses but his work is excellent. He built my 6mm-WSM and it is one of the 2 most accurate barrels I have right now. He's built my 450 Bushmaster on a Savage Small shank and it looks great. I am one happy customer.

Sin-Arms (I see you have listed) has also done some work for me in the past and his work was excellent also.

Jim Briggs at Northland is great to deal with and my CBI 6BR I bought from him has been a shooter from day one.

I don't offer Lothar Walther anymore, had supply problems. I try to use exclusively Brux barrels now, also offer Shilen and and Mcgowen. I have ordered a benchmark barrel for a 204 build and if it works out I will offer them too.

McGowen barrels are a viable option, and have inventory ready to go.

+1 on the McGowen. Better than 1/2 MOA on my build.

PacNor has lousy customer service and I will never recommend them.

I have had good barrels from Brux, Rock Creek, and ER Shaw (hunting rifle). A fella I shoot with likes Shilen.

McGowen has been quite popular on here for a few years so they must be doing something right.

Does anyone offer a pre fit Savage from Benchmark? I would like to try one of their barrels and wondered if any vendor had any pre fits in stock.

I called Benchmark last week. They quoted me $495 and 4 months lead time for a pre-fit.

Tough to beat Brux. I saw a fella do a break in procedure on one a while back. Hardly any copper fouling at all, considerably less than my Rock Creeks or Krieger during break in.

Thanks for the list. This is very helpful. Would it be a lot of work to add links?
    Thanks!

I guess it all depends on what your definition of pre-fit is. When I hear pre-fit I think "in-stock and ready to ship" like Midway, McGowen and NSS does. All the others offer custom made-to-order barrels from blanks and the wait time for most is 4-8 weeks minimum, possibly up to a 6-8 months if they don't have the right blank already on the shelf.
