    Centerfeed mag question

So I just swapped calibers on a Savage 10 centerfeed, and I need an internal box mag for 223. Where on earth would I find this? Do I just buy a removable mag and pull the box off the top? The only parts I can find at the usual suppliers (midway, brownells, etc.) are either staggerfeed or removable box mags.

I just had a conversation with Jim at NSS about this very issue. I am looking for a center feed magazine for a .270 myself. Jim said that the detachable box magazines are the same thing as the blind box magazines only with a floor plate attached. He said you could buy a DBM and remove the floor plate and have the part that you are wanting. The box, spring, and follower are identical with the only difference being a floor plate. Hope that helps.
