Value of .223 BTCSS (Varmint 26") Barrel Only with 300 rnds. through it?

    Hello Gents,

May want to sell my .223 Factory Varmint (1-9) tube to help finance a hi-end .308 barrel conversion. Sounds like "Jim" is the guy to go to for this plan, but I am tight on cash these days. My head is thinking select-match Shilen grade or maybe a cut-rifled barrel.

    This .223 put 4 of 7 52g. Barnes Burners into a 0.19" group at 100 with 24.7 of N135 and 6 of 8 into 0.23 with 23.8 of N135 as well so I know it's a good barrel. Only seen 300 rnds' max.

Can someone tell me what would be a sensible price to offer it for sale?

    Thanks,

    Steve

To Moderator: I am not offering this barrel for sale here. I am just clueless of what a sensible "ask" should be for it if I list it. Thanks very much and hope is OK...

Used factory varmint barrels typically go for around $150 (new take-off's typically around $200).

Thank you Mr. Furious. Exactly what I needed to know.

I appreciate you not taking issue with the inquiry in this part of the forum.
