Seem to be about the same bullet. I did shoot a 250ish lb wild boar at about 70yds w/ my 7-08 and a 154SST. Worked real good. Shot several deer w/ 139gr. sst out of the 7-08 too.
Anyone had better success with one over the other?
Better overall quality, inherently more accurate, more consistant etc?
Obviously every gun shoots different than another, but is there an overall pattern of one of these being better made/more accurate than the other?

thanks for the reply. The 150grn SST is my .270 hunting round. I've heard good things about the Noslers and have been doing some load development with the .243, just looking at different options.
...Never shot the SST's...My Noslers work too well to switch..
about the same go with the cheapest.
Like where your heasds at.
I would go with Nosler. IMO I think they make one of the best bullets. Their jackets and precission lead are very well made and once people start looking around, I think they will see that their match bullets shoot better than the coveted Sierra. Just one opinion .

OMG...do I detect heresey heresy here? (I really should remember to use the spell checker)

Heresey ?
I have used SSTs in a 6mm Rem, 257 Weatherby, 7mm Rem Mag, and .308 Win. on whitetail deer, groundhogs, crows, etc. and they always performed spectacularly. I tend to shoot Hornady when I can since they are usually cheapest and very accurate. Nosler pricing drives me away most of the time, although their bullets do shoot good.
