I'm new to long range shooting so for my first long range rifle I went with the Savage Axis chambered in the .308 on the rifle I have
Weaver Top Mounts
Weaver High See Thru Scope Rings
And the Barska Varmint 10-40x50mm Mildot scope
What I'm going to be getting soon is the Blackhawk Sportster 6-9inch Adjustable Bipod and also the Blackhawk Raised Cheek Piece

Reinforcing the stock is very important until you can get a new one.

And let me know what you think about that Barska scope. I have one just like it & it just won't die. I've had it on 5 different calibers from .243 to .270 can't kill it. I got it about 3 years ago on a package deal with a spotting scope for the whopping price of $79 + shipping. I just wanted the spotting scope but the rifle scope turned out to be pretty good. I mean, pretty good as far as a cheapo Barska scope goes.
Nice looking rig ya got yourself there, too.
Good luck with it.
edit - Now watch.... the next time I go to shoot my .243 with the Barska the objective lens will fall out.
'Scuse me while I whip this out...!
You can replace it with mine once I replace my glass.

I'll let you know how it goes once I take it to the range. I've heard really good things about this scope that's why I bought it and also it was pretty cheap.
Thank you!
And yeah haha that's how it happens sometimes. You say how well something is doing and then it just goes to crap right after but hopefully that doesn't happen
