Inletting blind mag stock for savage DBM

One of my coworkers recenty bought a 10 FP .308 centerfeed blind magazine model, non accustock.
I'm looking at replacing my 10FCP McMillans mag setup with a CDI AICS unit.

Wondering if we can inlet his stock for my factory DBM. Possible?

Anything is possible...it just takes money. Send it to Jeff at CDI...he can inlet the stock.

Yes it can be done and Sharp Shooter Supply does them many times a day. This is not a project you can do with a dremel, at home.

Would it not be cheaper to buy a factory take-off stock that is inletted for the DBM/HFP, than to have the work done on a factory stock?

I can use the mill at work to do it, one perk of being a machinist.
From the first glance at his stock on the outside, it looked like it's the same tool to mold them, just using a coring insert on the DBM models to mold the pocket.

You're right, buying a takeoff stock would be the easiest route, and that's what I told him, but it's not my rifle.

I was just wondering if it was feasible or not.
