There is only one way you can do this. You must take pictures and post them. You must do a quality job with proffessional naration. Then we will ask that Mr F publishes it as an article on the website.
I have a 110 in 3006 that i am using as my range rifle and hunting rifle. I was looking at modifying a BAR mag to fit into the stock bottom metal. has anyone tried this? I have checked all the dimensions and it seems to be feasible.

Ill do my best. Ill may need to use a mill for a few parts, so that would make it go on the back burner till i get back up to school and have the full machine shop at my disposal.
Current Status: Waiting on the mag from numrich.
Yes, it is possible. I cut and welded the bottom of the BAR magazine, to the top of the Savage magazine. I cut and modified the floorplate to utilize the magazine release tab. They work.

Why waste your time with a BAR mag?....
Go for the gusto. Think BIG. Build something that will make the guys at the range say WOW (or maybe "does that guy have a screw loose?")..
I say go for 30 rounds or the heck with it.
Sorry guys. I couldn't resist. In the short time I've been here this topic seems to haunt me.
Where's my meds?....
'Scuse me while I whip this out...!
