Leupold STD 1 piece base and rings.

I am using a vortex 3-9 scope and I dont have any way to get the scope back far enough with this setup on my 110 savage to get the proper eye relief. Has anyone else had this problem? The tube isn't long enough for me to get the scope eye piece even flush with the back of the tang.

I really don't want to buy a new base/rings, but at this point it looks like I have no other options.

Any ideas before I go out and buy some burris XTR rings and weaver one piece base?

I see this pretty much every day. You need a long scope to bridge the gap over the 110. Only option really is to get a rail and different rings, or a longer scope.
    More shooting, less typing.

Thanks. Yeah, I spoke with optics planet and they suggest Leupold Part Number: 49910. They are offset rings. I may try that first so I dont have to spend another $100 on rings/base setup.
