The other day I was discussing a tune up on our '56 chey pickup with my wife and it occured to me that the model 340e Savage in .22 Hornet needs a tune up . Not knowing where to start or what to have done other than a trigger job and incasing the front part of the barrel in heat shrink tubing to act as a barrel tuner . So I need guidence on what this rifle needs done to make it a MOA or sub MOA if it is possible or if it is not possible. I am reloading for it so I have a few different powders avaiable and currently shooting 2400 and 33gr .223 Sierra bullets and 40 grain SN Sperry using PVI/S&B cases . Thanks for any advice !
